SAN DIEGO BOUND + SDCC DRINK 'N DRAW 2008!!!Edit: So I leave for San Diego tomorrow morning!! Also we filled the suite (sorry).

which was just so much awesomeness. I haven't been there since I was 12. I took a ton of pics and some videos (which I'll throw on Youtube later) and we all had a blast. And no I don't scream on ALL the rides 
California Screamin' really got me though! My throat still hurts!Today was my last day in LA so we spent it in the Top Cow Studio (pics!) inking away. I love it there.... Today they had a comic book podcast site in there doing a video tour of the studio which was neat to see (I toured it back in March when they were moving back in lol).
I'm working on a couple of ink tests that I'm expected to hand in when I reach San Diego -- fingers crossed! I also found out that one of my fave inkers is going to be at SDCC this year -- a rare occurrence
I'm also continuing to work on commissions -- didn't get around to scanning more in yet since I'm absolutely horrible at organizing myself at the last minute. Expect a buttload of submissions when I get home hehe.SAN DIEGO COMIC CON - Drink 'n Draw 2008!!
SDCC 2008 is LESS than a week away!
TIME: Friday July 25th at 7:30/8:00pm (to grab tables). For those of you that voted Thursday night, I will probably be there Thursday night too.
PLACE: The first floor bar of the Hyatt --- not the Redfield's bar, the other first floor bar that had actual tables and proper chairs.
WHAT TO BRING: Your sketchbook(s), drawing tools, etc.
The (optional) Drink n Draw dinner:
This year's Drink n Draw dinner will be at the Pacific Fish Company restaurant in the Embassy Suites hotel (2-3 blocks from the convention center - one block further than the Hyatt hotel) at 5:30/6:00pm on Friday July 25th.
This restaurant serves seafood fare along with steaks, chicken dishes, and I believe burgers as well. It also serves sushi -- the PFC also has a lounge and sushi bar across the hall from the restaurant, so customers can order sushi delivered to their table.
PLEASE RSVP with me FOR THE DINNER by Preview Night! I need to know how many people are coming so that I can make the reservation.
Anyone interested in Italian fare, a group of us will be meeting for lunch at Filippi's Pizza Grotto in Little Italy on WEDNESDAY JULY 23rd! Please contact me for time, etc.
