Ehhhh first fanart of anything in about a year :\

Mai Shiranui from King of Fighters, drawn by request from one of the VFS students that met me the other day. I've never played this game and know nothing about any of the characters, so if the costume is a little off........ and I know this one's not that great, but I think I'd like to say.......

Critique me on it. Reasonably. Anything rude will just be ignored, but honest critiques are appreciated.


Thanks. Oh yeah, pencil done in a sketchbook. Couple hours in between video games and general nonsensical fun.

hmmm you may want to practice expressions....she seems pretty expressionless,maybe give her a sultry sexy expression.Also i'd say the hand looks a little odd maybe too small,i understand its supposed to look like that from that angle.....hmmm

i would gave you crittics but i have nothing to critic on, her figure looks very good, her hand looks correct"i have always problems with hands"

So to be honest i wouldnt change a thing about it, but if you draw stuff you can always find something to change on your own picture.

I think you did a great job with the proportions and figure and everything, only thing i would change would maybe be to spice it up a little, not sure exactly how, but just something to make it stand out. Maybe another prop, cool background, or a pattern on her clothes? I don't know, i shouldn't talk, you're way better at the human form and pose than i am, heh :D
