I have been wanting to make some inker stamps for a while -- had a few minutes before I turn in for the night tonight so I jumped into Photoshop and whipped this up. First try... don't kill me.
Gonna make another one that just says INKER but this one is for all the uneducated out there that come to an inker's gallery and assume we're tracers --- we should make them watch Chasing Amy so they think twice about calling us a tracer
For example, I'm an embellishing inker --- that means I adjust lines as well as add detail to the lineart that I'm inking, or change patterns and details to give them better textures.
No tracers here!
Stamp template is the one extracted from °
liquisoft's original stamps:

I'm a bit tired of people outside of the artist community calling inkers "tracers". Man, I would like to see THEM make someone's sketchy as hell pencils look awesome using just a brush and some ink.
Inkers redraw, we make a pencilers pencils pop, look cleaner, we correct their bad attempts at perspective, at anatomy. I've been given pencils that look like CHICKEN SCRATCH, and have had basically redraw the whole dang page as an inker.

Inking for me is one of the best job any illustrator can get, well if you know how to ink well of course. I'm have inking gigs and it really goes well! Got to love inking. It's like upgrading the lines of the penciler.
