This has been an insane week -- so that movie poster I mentioned in my last journal... Fox released the Deadpool movie poster they had me illustrate on Tuesday. I actually thought I was just doing the design, I didn't realize the artwork itself would be used, so that was really cool and made for an absolutely crazy few days online. Its one of my most epic collabs with BlondTheColorist so far, up there with our Guardians/Seahawks piece. This coming week, I have a prop in episode 3 of DC's Legends Of Tomorrow season 1. So once that airs, I can post some pics and info on it too.
In the meantime, today is the cutoff for patron-exclusive access over on Patreon. I have a bunch of sexy pieces in the works for my patrons for February, just in time for Valentine's Day You can become a patron at any time (please check me out via the banner below this for info). I'll always post some public art and my Periscope livestreams. Its just active patrons get access to the patron-only posts for the next month. My patrons pledge once a month, and are processed on the 1st of each month. The more patrons and support I have, the more time I can spend creating new pinup art, fantasy illustrations, and comic art.
I'll have more for you guys soon! For now, have fun and I'll be back with another update later this week!
Meh-ka: a rare species that depends on comic books and ink for survival. This species is nocturnal by nature, and is often found hunched over a computer or drawing apparatus. |
It may appear cuddly and docile, often encouraging glomps which elicit an adorable squeaking sound from the Mecha. However, it is not always as cute as it seems.
The dormant life it leads can also be mistaken for anti-social tendencies, but it thrives when placed in its home setting, often referred to as a convention (con-ven-ti-on). There it finds comfort in the company of fellow artists (art-ist-s).
